CGC Announces an In-House Private Signing Event with Superstar Comic Book Creators Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley

Brian Michael Bendis is a Peabody Award-winning comics creator, and Amazon and New York Times bestseller, known for co-creating Miles Morales, Jessica Jones, Maria Hill, Naomi, Iron Heart and dozens of other characters and stories that populate the Marvel, DC and all new original universes.

At Marvel, Bendis completed historic runs on Spider-Man (18 years), Avengers (9 years), Iron Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, a 100-issue run on the X-Men franchise, along with the wildly successful “event” projects: Avengers Versus X-Men, House of M, Secret War, Secret Invasion, Age of Ultron, Civil War 2 and Siege.

Bendis made his DC debut with the landmark Action Comics 1000 and currently writes Justice League after finishing his years-long runs on Superman, Action Comics, Batman: Universe, Legion of Superheroes and curating Wonder Comics featuring the return of Young Justice, Dial H for Hero, Wonder Twins and the breakout original new character, Naomi.

Mark Bagley has had an incredible career as an artist, working for both Marvel and DC throughout the years. In the 2000s, he was credited as being one of the top ten artists of the decade. He is best known for his work on Amazing Spider-Man and Ultimate Spider-man — the latter he worked on alongside Bendis. Their partnership on the 111-issue series holds the record for the longest run by a team for Marvel Comics. Bagley created one of the most memorable villains in the Spider-man universe, Carnage. He also put his spin on the iconic Venom, with his rendition becoming one familiar to every Spider-man fan.

After Marvel, Bagley worked on the Trinity series for DC Comics, which featured Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. He also worked on Batman and Justice League of America during his time with DC. Bagley returned to Marvel and worked on Avengers Assemble, All-New X-Men, The Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Venom.
